Self Motivation


We all have different personalities and different ways that we interact with people. Some days are harder than others and we struggle with keeping a positive and upbeat attitude and personality. We all want to be that person who is happy most of the time and can look at the positive side of life. How do we get to that point?
Ø  Stay positive.
Keeping a positive attitude and leaving the negative behind you will help everyone involved in the situation look at the good side. You may have to write the positives and negatives down to find them or you may have to have a group discussion to find a way to stay positive. When you bring negativity into a situation it can affect not only you, but everyone involved. When you keep your attitude and surrounding positive, others will see that and feed of that positively. In having a positive attitude, you will find yourself being in a better mood and finding your enthusiastic personality.


Ø  Traumatic circumstances
We are all faced with circumstances in our lives that can be traumatic and heartbreaking. When you are faced with these types of issues, do what you can to find the good in it. It may be hard to do, but turning the bad into good will help you to focus on the good and push out the bad. There are many different ways to find the good in the situation. Find the way that works best for you. Some ideas you can try are writing your thoughts and concerns down so that you can see them and read over them daily or even more. When you are in an environment that you feel comfortable, you will find yourself being happier and enjoying the situation and company you are in. Your mind will start to work and you will be able to help with ideas and help lead the group.
Ø  Vision
Self-motivation helps us to find a vision and a path to follow in life. People who have self-motivation are happier, live healthier lives, and are pleasant to be around. Self-motivation helps us to overcome roadblocks and challenges in life. We will view negative comments from others as a grain of salt and let it roll off our shoulders rather than taking offence to everything.
To gain self-esteem motivation, follow some of these tips:
J  Exercise on a daily basis. Exercise helps to increase self-esteem because you are improving your health.
J  Work on focusing on your daily tasks. Set up small goals that you can easily achieve each day. As you achieve these goals, you will begin to have a feeling of self-worth.

J  Write down some of the things you want to improve. Write down a few ways to accomplish this goal.

J  Review some of the success you have had in life like graduating from high school or college, getting a good job, etc. Each time you face other challenges, look at these as a way to motivate you to get through the hard times. You will see that you have been successful at something in life and this can really help you improve the way you work and live your life.

J  Stop caring what everyone else thinks. The only people you need to be worry about are yourself and your loved ones. Surround yourself with positive people. Being around positive individuals can help you maintain focus and improve your self-esteem. These individuals can help to encourage you to become a better person and challenge you to work harder.

J  When something new is placed in your life, take the challenge to try something new and accomplish it. It may not be easy, but it will give you the chance to open yourself and build your confidence.
